We undertook a high-level review of markets for PE geomembranes in Europe and Africa for a leading international manufacturer. This covered market size and competitive structure and key target segments and their growth potential. A second phase of the project focused on geomembranes and related geosynthetics in the mining sector, especially in Africa. The drivers of this market and the key success factors were analysed in detail alongside the competitive structure, customer needs and distribution channels.
RESULT: the Client developed and implemented an entry strategy for geomembranes in the mining sector.
